We are spending the 2019-20 school year in Kosovo.
It’s true. We make the move to Eastern Europe in 15 days. God used my dear friend Becky Waters to plant a tiny “what if” seed. And as has proven true in the past, her words have led my life in a God-sized direction I could have never initially dreamed of for myself.

Derek and I will be teaching at Prishtina High School, an American-based school. Derek is teaching third grade and I am teaching first. I will continue in my role at CCU, virtually corresponding and teaching online courses. Derek has taken a one year leave of absence from Batavia and plans to return in the 2020-21 school year.
Dexter (freshman), Xander (grade 6), and Lucy (grade 4) will be attending the same school. My past student and current friend, Nashana Meese will be taking care of Ellie (Huge thanks!).
We are excited to get to Prishtina, Kosovo and let God lead our family to serve in whatever way is most helpful. Thank you for any prayers you say on our behalf. 💜
I am so excited for you! You are in for a treat and covered with prayers.

I think it should work. We’ve been checking on what we need to do and his iPod seems to work there without trouble. We will see!
