We’ve made it to Fall Break! We leave for London on Monday. We are very excited for the trip and for the special meet up with Nana and Papa!
Here’s an update about what has been going on here. The kids have been going out with friends and doing fun things. Xander and Lucy did some ice skating.
Derek has been running a rubix cube club after school on Wednesdays.
We took the whole elementary on a field trip to the Bear Sanctuary. Apparently some restaurants would keep bears in cages as an entertainment factor, even placing hot sheets of metal under their feet to make it look like they were dancing – terrible! The Bear Sanctuary was created as a place to safely keep these bears, as well as ones people took for pets and shouldn’t have. We had a fun day and the weather was great.
Dexter played for the first time ever at church on the worship team. He played the mandolin and Derek played the guitar.
